De Houtloods is a popular hotspot for food lovers. The unique restaurant is located in a characteristic building from 1867 in the Tilburg Spoorzone. In the past, the wood for the railway ties and trains was stored here, but since 2015 the building was transformed into a new creative gastronomic destination.

De Houtloods stands for creative, innovative, hard work, and culinary quality. There is a large open kitchen with an informal atmosphere, industrial feeling and an energetic look. We are also very proud to announce that De Houtloods has been awarded 14 points by Gault&Millau.

De Houtloods is located in the oldest building of the former NS workshop in the Spoorzone. At 'De Houtloods', named after the original purpose of the building (translated as “The Woodshed), no distinction is made between the kitchen and the restaurant. The spot where the wood used to be stored and dried has now become the real eye-catcher of the business: the kitchen bar.
